16th Century Manor
A superb grade 1 listed historic Manor House. Mostly late C16 and early C17, with original core reputed to date from 1140, extended and restored c1862 and again 1883 and now significant restoration for new family home by IJ Preece. McMillan & Holder have been subcontracted by IJ Preece who have a significant reputation for restoration to assist in the latest renovation. Our involvement began in 2020 and has been on going for 3 years. We have restored, supplied and installed hundreds of natural stone architectural components. Including parapet coping, cornice, quoins, threshold stones, mullion and transom stone window components, mullion and transom stone door components, door surrounds, stone window sills, stone window heads, lintels, stone hood moulds, apex and finial details, stone coping, capping, mouldings and more.
